Starting in the early 80s, Lissy has been working in the entertainment and television industry. From her early days at WTTW/PBS she honed her skills publicizing PBS network programs and WTTW produced programs. It was here at PBS that Lissy's instinct and acumen for promoting children's properties, cooking programs, books, and the vast array of television genres evolved.
Blanco & Peace has collaborated on publicity campaigns with formidable entertainment entities all over the globe such as Paramount Pictures, Warner Brothers, 20th Century Fox, New Line, Universal Studios and many independent production companies. Lissy has been assigned to many different projects and worked with one of the top visual effects houses based in Los Angeles on such films as JINGLE ALL THE WAY, THE RELIC, VOLCANO, FACE/OFF TITANIC, ALIEN RESURRECTION and others. We worked directly with Universal Studios, Jersey Films and Comic Relief executive director Bob Zmuda on the Milos Forman directed Andy Kaufman biopic, MAN ON THE MOON starring Jim Carrey.

After over 20 years working on sets and managing the public relations of television programs and feature films, Lissy has stepped into the role of television producer. She has three programs under her belt and is working on two additional television productions.

Blanco & Peace has also worked on several musical projects over the years including a concert series with the legendary jazz great Dave Brubeck, Shaft, himself, Isaac Hayes, the Backstreet Boys and the ever popular STYX. Ms. Peace is currently working with STYX on their upcoming new album and television production.

The company has coordinated press coverage for networks, cable venues and video industries. We have facilitated the publicity and promotion for new program and product offerings in the pay-per-view services as well as interactive internet entertainment.
